28th Annual Sports Legends Dinner

Last year’s event: 27th Annual Great Sports Legends Dinner to Benefit Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis at The Waldorf Astoria on September 24, 2012 in New York City.



The event, which happens each year, attracts top professional athletes, sports legends, celebrities as well as philanthropic and corporate leaders in support of The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis, which raises funds to support the ground-breaking spinal cord injury research done by scientists at The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. Since its inception in 1985, the Great Sports Legends Dinner has honored more than 283 sports legends and honorees and has raised nearly $93 million for The Miami Project.

The Buoniconti Fund was established by NFL Hall of Fame linebacker Nick Buoniconti, his son, Marc Buoniconti, and their family.
