To me, “sexy” is all about living your life with confidence, vitality, passion, health and hotness! It’s time to stop settling for less than your deserve, and instead, claim the joy that is rightfully yours. Here are eight strategies you can employ to start living that sexy, fit, incredible life!

1. Accept the fact that you are worth it.

So many people think they simply aren’t worth an out-of-this-world life so they fall prey to poor eating and negative self-talk which sabotages their fitness and confidence. If instead, you start off by accepting the fact that you deserve to have your dreams come true, you open the door to that life within yourself.

2. Create a vision of how you want to look and feel in 90 days from today and live that way.

This one allows you to use your imagination to build a positive image of your future self. Now, you have a vision you can work towards that will motivate you and encourage you when the going gets tough.

3. Hydrate.

This one is a total no-brainer: more than half of your body is made up of water. You have to hydrate in order to replenish it. Your body needs water to function properly, so buy a reusable water bottle and carry it. All. The. Time. Don’t give yourself an excuse to not get enough H2O.

4. Sleep.

This one can be tough but it’s so, so necessary. Your body repairs itself when you’re asleep and you need enough rest to make anything happen. Count back eight hours from when you have to wake up and make it your goal to be in bed with the lights off by that time.

5. Say goodbye to booze binging and other toxic habits.

Hear me out on this one: I’m not telling you that you have to give up your beloved boozy brunch. But if you’re drinking unlimited mimosas every Sunday, it’s time to scale it back. This sort of behavior might be fun in the moment, but habitual drinking and other toxic behaviors wreak havoc on your body, mind and spirit.

6. Plan to have fun and celebrate.

This one is all about your outlook: focus on what you enjoy about the tasks you must accomplish, and make every accomplishment a celebration. Looking at the positive will drastically alter your outlook for the better.

7. Build yourself a “sexy-fit accountability tribe.”

Choose a few people in your life who love to see you succeed, and ask them to be your accountability goddesses. They will help keep you honest, but will also be your cheerleaders through any rough patches.

8. Stay determined but flexible.

Expect those bumps in the road — they always happen, no matter what. Instead of getting hung up, focus on moving past them; pick yourself up and dust yourself off. Now, that is hot!
