Cocktails, Bossa Nova and Shopping For A Good Cause: H.Stern Holiday Event Benefits Delete Blood Cancer
A bit of cocktail-sipping and festive shopping is sure to inspire a joyful holiday feeling – especially when it benefits an important cause.
Brazilian jewelry company H.Stern and Delete Blood Cancer hosted their third annual holiday event, hosted by Katharina Harf, co-founder of Delete Blood Cancer, Vanuce Pedreiro and Belinda Brito, last night at the H. Stern boutique in New York.
While enjoying cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and grooving to live bossa nova music, guests were invited to shop for a cause; a portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit Delete Blood Cancer; who uses 100 percent of funds to register life-saving bone marrow donors for patients in need.
According to Delete Blood Cancer, H.Stern has provided funding to register more than 234 potential bone marrow donors.
Supermodel Coco Rocha and Evander Holyfield, Jr. were in attendance to show their support; Rocha has been a long-term advocate, and Holyfield, Jr. saved a life by donating bone marrow in 2012.
