In honor of National Martini Day on June 19th, Belvedere Vodka partnered with Cocktail Courier, a company that delivers top-rated cocktails to doorsteps throughout Manhattan and Chicago, and Tad Carducci, an award-winning mixologist and bartender, to create a martini recipe just in time for the occasion.

BELVEDERE SUMMER-THYME MARTINI
Serves 1

Ingredients
  1. 2.0 OZ BELVEDERE VODKA
  2. 1.0 OZ BLANC VERMOUTH
  3. 2 DASHES BERG & HAUCK LEMON
  4. BITTERS
  5. 1 THYME SPRIG
  6. GARNISH: 1 DEHYDRATED LEMON
  7. WHEEL, 1 THYME SPRIG
  8. REQUIRED BAR TOOLS: MIXING BEAKER, TEASPOON OR MUD-
  9. DLER, JIGGER OR MEASURING CUP, BAR SPOON, JULEP STRAINER
  10. GLASS: COUPE
  11. SHAKE / STIR / MUDDLE
Instructions
  1. Chill Coupe Glass by placing in refridgerator or freezer. (Optional)
  2. Place 1 thyme sprig in a Mixing Beaker, then using a teaspoon or muddler lightly press on thyme sprig to release essential oils.
  3. Fill Mixing Beaker about 2/3 full with ice.
  4. Measure and add Belvedere, vermouth, and bitters into Mixing Beaker. Stir contents by placing shaft of Bar Spoon between your index and middle finger.
  5. Insert spoon into the beaker until spoon touches bottom.
  6. Keeping your arm and fingers still, use your wrist to turn the spoon in the glass. The spoon will spin about in your fingers on its own axis.
  7. Stir for about 60 seconds.
  8. Remove Coupe Glass from refrigerator/freezer.
  9. Strain contents of Mixing Beaker using Julep Strainer into Coupe Glass.
  10. Garnish with 1 deyhdrated lemon wheel and 1 thyme Sprig.
