Popular Food Festival ‘Taste of Gramercy Neighborhood’ Returns This Month
After last year’s high turnout, popular culinary festival, Taste of Gramercy Neighborhood, will return to New York City this month.
The 2nd Annual Taste of Gramercy Neighborhood, a culinary festival that celebrates the best in food, culture and community in New York City’s Gramercy neighborhood, will take place on Sept. 13 at Irving Place.
The streets will transform into an outdoor food extravaganza where festival-goers can sample food from over 20 participating local restaurants.
Last year’s event was more successful than expected, selling about 500 tickets.
Proceeds will benefit local schools PS 40 and School of the Future, while leftover food from the event will go to feed New York’s homeless that day via The Bowery Mission.
