Buh-bye July! Last month was a good one but there are so many things to look forward to in August I’m not sad to see it go!

Some July highlights were shooting a video with Le Tote, a Dinner Club outing at Foreign Cinema and a last minute visit from one of my best friends who lives in New York. Check out more of my favorite things from last month below.

Boyhood – This movie is simple and beautiful and lots of other adjectives. It also has an amazing soundtrack.

Gordo’s – Siobhan and I have made a tradition of going to Gordo’s in the Inner Richmond on Sundays and sitting in the window for over an hour while enjoying what could be the one of the best burritos I’ve ever had. We then proceed to get bubble tea. It is truly the best way to spend a Sunday.

The Leftovers This show is about half way into its season but it took a few episodes for me to really get into it. It’s rough, raw and thought provoking and so different than anything else that I’m watching. I’m probably going to read the book its based off in the next month or so as well.

Thistle. Its no surprise that I’m way into food. I am happy to indulge whenever I have the chance. That said, there is nothing worse than eating a huge fatty lunch during the work week , feeling like crap afterwards and having to sit through the next 4 hours feeling like you might fall asleep/out of your chair. I only found out about Thistle last week and I’ve already had it twice. Healthy, vegan meals and juices delivered to your doorstep on the cheap. You really can’t go wrong.

I hope your July was amazing and August is one for the books!
