Top 10 Gourmet Happy Hours In Greenwich Village

Happy hour. It’s not about saving a couple bucks for me. It’s a free pass to let go. We work hard during the day, we deserve a happy hour (or two). Besides, how much trouble can we really get into in two short hours?

We picked Top 10 “Gourmet” Happy Hours: West Village back in Summer, now it’s time for Greenwich Village.

The Village immediately comes to mind when I think of happy hour but a “gourmet” happy hour is not on every corner.

We rated 61 happy hours in Greenwich Village (East of 6th Ave, West of Broadway, Above Houston St. and Below 14th St) on a scale of 1-10 for Quality, Value & Experience for a total possible score of 30. We like happy people, unique finds, and fair prices.

You can find many happy hours walking around MacDougal and Bleecker Street. You may even hear a couple Bob Dylan covers. I like Peculier Pub, Red Lion and MacDougal Street Ale House to toss back a couple pints with close friends in a totally casual and friendly bar.

However, if you’re looking for authentic Caribbean Jerk Chicken, Garlic Shrimp, Kobe Burger, fresh Fish Tacos or Cuban Sliders — in other words, something “gourmet” — at happy hour prices, then check out TGB Top 10 “Gourmet” Happy Hours: Greenwich Village.
